Here’s a couple more pictures of Beau, myself and our level 1 human we’re building (photos by Jess Baumung, killer photographer and friend http://jessbaumung.com).
To quickly answer a few questions, we’re currently six months along, we won’t find out if it’s a girl or boy until D-day, and neither of us plan on stopping our journeys in music any time soon (in fact, I’ve already got album 3 in the works—two babies next year?).
One thing is for sure though, this baby will be born with a badass combover. Hopefully have super powers as well.
Much love from Beau and Lights (and player 3).
It’s November guys! Which means: Christmas is so close! Therefore, we should all get into the Christmas’ spirit as soon as possible! The earlier the better, right?
So, in case you haven’t already heard, Christmas is not only about receiving (yeah okay who doesn’t love getting presents) but mainly about SHARING and GIVING. Therefore, I have decided to create this project, in order to get you into the meaning and spirit of Christmas!
What is the secret santa project exactly?
The secret santa project is a project I’ve decided to create in order to give some joy to each and everyone of you up from December 1st until Christmas finally arrives!
Alright, but how does this whole thing works?
In order that someone is YOUR secret santa you have to be someone else’s secret santa as well!
Well, I’m going to match you with someone’s url (based on your interests, age, personality etc.) and I’m going to message you the url of this blogger, whose secret santa you are going to be (and someone else will get your url, which means that he will be YOUR secret santa)
On December 1st, you’re going to start messaging that person anonymously in order to brighten his day and it’s totally up to you to be a great secret santa or not! You have to message the person every day or at least every other day, sweet messages or ask him how his day went etc. If you feel like it you can also make graphics for the person you got, write them a poem or draw something and submit it to them (anonymously, of course) but that’s not necessary.
You cannot give any hints as to who you are or what your url is . You shall only reveal yourself on Christmas day (December 25th) and until then you shall remain ANONYMOUS.
Remember: the goal of the this whole project is to do an unselfish good deed in the spirit of Christmas.
Oh, so how could I participate in this?
- Reblog this post only ONCE until DECEMBER 1st.
- Likes don’t count!
- Please be following me.
- TO GET A URL MESSAGE ME SAYING: “i want a secret santa url” or something like that and you’ll get one
- If you don’t message me, I won’t be able to send you a url, which means you won’t get a secret santa eventually!
- You’ll send them kind messages everyday (anonymously), you can promo them if they’re not following you, just do something nice :)
- Please send your message once, don’t worry, I will answer , I promise.
- YOUR ASK BOX MUST BE OPEN AND THE ANON FEATURE HAS TO BE ENABLED!! Otherwise you’re not gonna get any asks from your secret santa!
- Also this goes without saying but if you are not going to actually do this, you’re going to make someone very unhappy.
EVERYONE WHO FOLLOWS THE RULES, IS GOING TO GET A SECRET SANTA.
ALTHOUGH, IF YOU AREN’T WILLING TO BE SOMEONE’S SECRET SANTA AND DON’T MESSAGE ME, NO ONE WILL BE YOUR SECRET SANTA AS WELL.
Please participate and HAVE FUN, make someone happy for Christmas!
(P.S You don’t have to celebrate Christmas to participate in this project)
I was going to buy groceries last weekend and there was this new chain of paparazzi who just carry a video camera while they’re taking pictures of you, and they start making fun of you to try to make you mad to get a reaction so they can sell it. Like what you do to monkeys in the zoo, when you just bang on the glass to try to make them mad to get a reaction. It just hurts your feelings, because you’re like, ‘Dude, I just want to buy some groceries and you’re making fun of me with a camera in my face.’ So I think it’s really gross. And it makes me feel like people don’t expect me to be a human anymore.
